PARENT TEACHER MEETING

“Together, may we give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly.” Parent Teacher Meeting is an essential part of education. It aligns parents and the school on to the best possible path for the children’s progress and builds concordant relationship between the school and the community. Hamdard Public School strongly believes that connecting home and school is the best key to student’s success in the classroom. Thus, the PTM was held on 9th December, 2022. The event witnessed a huge rush of parents who enthusiastically interacted with our teachers. Together they identified the areas of strength and weaknesses and devise ways to enrich the child learning experience.

HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

“The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.” Human rights day calls on every one right regardless of race, color, religion, national and social origin. Hamdard Public School arranged a counselling session for students on 12th December, 2022. The key emphasis of celebrating the Human Rights Day was to create awareness among students about their basic fundamental rights. Students were let to think critically about the ways in which human rights impact their community and determine the role that they can play in addressing local human rights issues. The session was didactic and interactive.

ANNUAL PICNIC DAY

“A picnic is more than eating a meal; it is a pleasurable state of mind.” School picnic is a lifelong beautiful experience for children. Spending time outdoors, basking in nature, the pure air invigorates kids and leaves them feeling rejuvenated. Keeping in mind, the stress and anxiety related to studies, Hamdard Public School Senior Section, planned a picnic on 14th December, 2022 at Shamsi Farm House. It gave an experience of being surrounded by greenery and the beauty of nature. It allowed students to have quality time and memorable memories with their friends and helped them to learn about themselves through self-reflection.

FOOTBALL MATCH

“The more difficult the victory, the greater the happiness in winning. “Research has shown that games are essential for healthy development in early childhood and beyond. On 21st December 2022, at the Bilawal Stadium of Hamdard Public School Karachi, an inter house sporting event of football was held amongst the four houses i.e Al-Beruni, Al-Ghazali, Al-Farabi and Al-Razi. The final was played between the mighty teams of Al-Ghazali and Al-Razi. After such an adventurous and exciting match, Al-Razi was declared as the winner of the Inter house School Tournament placing Al-Ghazali in the second spot. Throughout the day a very wholesome commentary was commencing and the students enjoyed the songs played momentarily. At the end of the day, the winners were quite excited and happy whereas, the other participants were sad over their defeat. But there can be no winners if there are no losers.

THROW BALL GIRLS TOURNAMENT

“You must not only have competitiveness but ability, regardless of the circumstance you face, to never quit.” A sport teaches you character, it teaches you to play by the rules. Play lets children practice what they know, and also what they don’t. It allows them to experiment through trial and error, find solutions to problems, work out the best strategies, and build new confidence and skills.Hamdard Public School arranged Girls Throw ball tournament which was held on 20th December, 22 amongst the four houses i.e. Al-Beruni, Al-Ghazali, Al-Farabi and Al-Razi. The criteria to win was the best of 3 matches. After tough and breath taking competition we got two finalist team. The final match was played between Al Beruni and Al Razi. Al Razi won the tournament with a score of 2-0. Thus, The joy of winning a game and the pain of defeat all have their ennobling influence on our personality. In short, we can say that games educate and prepare us for life.
