As students enter grade 9, they may find themselves eager to apply for the role of prefect. The prefect’s role is important one that requires students to be responsible, accountable, and dedicated. It’s crucial for students to understand the selection process, as it can be competitive and rigorous. In order to inform students in grades 6, 7 and 8 about the selection of the Elite League, members of the Student Council visited Middle Section of Hamdard Public School on 22^nd February, 2023 to 28^th February, 2023. The motive of this campaign was to prepare students for the selection procedure. They were informed that they could begin by reviewing the criteria that would be used to evaluate their suitability for the role. This criteria includes academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, leadership skills, and character traits. It was told to students that they could seek guidance from their teachers, peers and practice their communication and teamwork skills to enhance their chances of being selected. Ultimately, the role of prefect is a rewarding one that allows students to make a positive impact on their school community.
