Exhibition of Biology Projects: A Grand Showcase of Student Talent
Under the supervision & guidance of Senior Headmistress Madam Maria Akbar a spectacular Biology Projects Exhibition took place on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, in the school’s Assembly Hall. Students from the 9th and 10th grades, specializing in Biology, enthusiastically participated in the creation of outstanding projects on a wide array of topics. Their exceptional work was carried out under the expert guidance of Ms. Farhana and Ms. Soha.
Dr. Ahsana Dar invited the Bio team,(teachers & students) with all their projects in the 14th PAEM National Symposium held at Bait al Hikmah Auditorium, Hamdard University for display on 1st November 2023. The students are highly motivated & glad to have this grand opportunity to present their work there.
In addition to Dr. Dar, numerous other distinguished guests and teachers took time out of their busy schedules to attend the event. The students expressed their gratitude for the presence of Dr. Khalid Naseem, the school’s administrator, and Sir Saleem Jatoi, the Headmaster of HVS, as well as the dedicated teachers.
The task of selecting the best projects from among so many outstanding submissions proved to be quite challenging for our judges, Ms. Rehana and Ms. Majida. The winners and participants were recognized with awards and certificates, which filled them with a sense of pride and appreciation for their hard work.
Both Biology teachers, Ms. Farhana and Ms. Soha, deserve special commendation for organizing this remarkable event, featuring exemplary projects and knowledgeable, disciplined students.

Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers in various meaningful ways. They create and present cards, compose heartfelt poems, send flowers, or organize special programs to convey their deep feelings of love, respect, and gratitude.
On this Teachers’ Day, the elite students of the League celebrated in an exceptionally remarkable manner, demonstrating just how much they valued their educators. These students with calibration & guideline by senior Headmistress, Madam Maria Akbar gave an exceptionally well-coordinated surprise to the faculty members. They warmly welcomed all the teachers and even accorded them a guard of honor. Madam Maria was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and a framed keepsake to commemorate the day.
Each teacher received a tiara with their finest qualities mentioned on it, a simple yet profound gesture that touched the hearts of everyone present. This graceful ceremony was thoughtfully scheduled during break time to ensure that no academic units were disrupted.
Overall, the celebration was a thoughtful and well-coordinated effort from both the boys and girls of the Elite League, a fitting tribute to the educators who make a difference in their lives.

Honoring the Elite League: Celebrating Student Council Election Victory
The students of the Elite League were treated to a special victory celebration for their successful win in the Student Council election. The Headmistress, Madam Maria Akbar, hosted the event.
A special cakewalk was organized for the students, accompanied by lunch boxes and drinks. Madam Maria expressed her confidence in their unique status and encouraged them to demonstrate their worthiness. This celebration not only boosted their morale but also instilled a sense of pride in being part of the elite group.
Solidarity with Palestine
The global community has been deeply moved by the plight of innocent Palestinians in the face of actions by Israel. Our youth are resolute in demonstrating unity and solidarity with the suffering Muslim population in Gaza. Students from the ninth and tenth grades have adorned their bulletin boards with images illustrating the hardships and devastation inflicted by Israel.
Tenth-grade girls have emphasized the significance of understanding ways to contribute to helping the suffering population in Gaza, such as:
Volunteering with organizations
Praying and making supplications
Educating themselves and others
Advocating for peace
Donating to charities
Writing and speaking out
The students have produced a documentary addressing this highly sensitive international issue, providing viewers with insight into its history, origins, conflicts, struggles, and impact.
During a school assembly, a special prayer was offered for Palestine to underscore the importance of our support for their cause.
Mehfil-e-Milaad
Celebrating Mehfil-e-Milad: Honoring the Life of the Holy Prophet
Mehfil-e-Milad is a special occasion where Muslims come together to remember and honor the life of our Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and the values he embodied.
This significant event, Milad, was celebrated in the secondary section on October 27th, 2023, with profound devotion at the Hamdard University Auditorium. Students enthusiastically participated by preparing and presenting beautiful naats and biyans, creating a spiritually enriching atmosphere.
All students attended the event with discipline and respect. The beautifully recited naats by the students received high praise. At the end, tabaruk (blessed food) was distributed to all present.
This event showcased the strong affinity of young individuals for Islam and their deep love for our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H).
Hamdard School at 7th Abdul Sattar Edhi Sports Festival
Sports and games hold a significant place in a school’s curriculum, and at Hamdard, we are fortunate to have ample space for these activities. Our senior Headmistress, Madam Maria Akbar, consistently encourages and supports a wide range of sports and competitions, not only within our school but also in inter-school events throughout Karachi. On the 14th of October 2023, Hamdard students were cordially invited to Generation School to participate in various sports events alongside 21 other schools from our city.
Our dedicated students prepared rigorously under the guidance and supervision of Sir Bukari for these matches, and we are thrilled to announce that we emerged victorious in two of these sports competitions. This experience has not only been rewarding but has also provided our students with valuable exposure and the chance to showcase their talents in a challenging competitive environment.
