As per custom, 9th January each year is celebrated as Founder’s Day. This year too, the dawn of 9th January 2023 started with a lot of hustle bustle at Bilawal Stadium ground, Hamdard Public School. Every year a grand food festival is organized for the staff and students of Hamdard Public School and Hamdard Village School by the school management. This year, the organizers, the Hamdard Laboratories Waqf Pakistan, decided to organize a grand carnival and invited the parents also to come and join the day’s fun and activities. Four stalls were set up by the four sections-Junior Section, Middle Section, Senior Section and Hamdard Village School, while the remaining food stalls, haunted house, various swings and rides were all managed by the organizers. A medical camp was also set up by the employees of `Shifa-ul-Mulk’ a charitable hospital of Hamdard Foundation, also located in the school premises. The main event was the stage programme comprising of various entertaining segments like singing competition, magic show, juggler show, tableau performances and a musical concert. The guest of honour, Mrs. Sadia Rashid, President Hamdard Foundation, along with a few other dignitaries visited the various stalls and watched the stage performances Mrs. Sadia Rashid was presented with a portrait of Hakim Mohammed Said. The portrait was made up of hundreds of tiny pictures related to the life incidents of Hakim Sahib and arranged in such a unique manner that from afar they formed a portrait of our founder. These pictures were provided by Idarah-e-Said. A lot effort and team work was shown by the employees of Hamdard Foundation in the organizing of this event. The students, staff and parents had a great time and enjoyed the event immensely.
