We are born of love; Love is our mother.

Rumi The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment. This being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss was zealously enjoyed by one and all. The children irrespective of nationalities, castes, cultures and genders have emotions binding them to their mothers. Keeping this bonding emotion in mind, the Primary Section had a special celebration on mother’s day. Teachers made an earnest effort to instil the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective thematic presentations, moral stories, and video clippings. The students of Prep. Junior, Class I, II and III had something more special and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful greeting cards for their mothers. The tiny tots came up with new and innovative ideas for their cards. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic children preparing something unique, something special. The outcome of their efforts was marvellous. Each card was special and different in its own way.


Farewell party in the school is celebrated not to just to say goodbye to the friends, as they step into a new realm of life. It also a commemoration to celebrate all the good times together and wishing the best for the future.’

The Farewell Party was organized by Class IV to bid farewell to Class V, the senior most class of Primary Section, on Monday, 29th May 2023, at the Auditorium of Madinat al Hikmah, Hamdard University during school timings. A short, colourful and well organized program was conducted by students of both the classes. Class IV commenced the program with Recitation of Quran, National Anthem, Welcome Speech and song and an enjoyable Qawwali Session especially composed for the staff members of Junior Section.


Then Class V took charge of the program by a confident farewell speech by our Student of the Year Sukhaina Arif. The students distributed especially prepared titles to all the teachers of Junior Section. Our Headmistress, Ma’am Fariha Raza addressed the gathering and wished the senior most class V batch all the best for their entry to the Middle Section. A beautiful Farewell song performance winded up the memorable event. Dua e Said was recited as per custom. Then, just to boost and cheer up the students, a group of teachers sang some verses from some memorable and well known songs which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Hamdard Foundation members served cold glasses of Rooh Alia and Rooh Sabz to everyone as they started to proceed back towards school premises.


Annual Result Day is one of the most important function of a school. It is a memorable event for the students. It is held to mark the end of the academic year. At the Primary Section of Hamdard Public School it was held on 30th May 2023. After a short assembly the Art teacher announced the house results. Al-Farabi won the trophy. Prep. Junior classes I, H & III celebrated their end term party. Students were awarded souvenirs, colourful envelopes, few entertaining activities were also planned for the children. They enjoyed the party and had a lot of fun performing the activities. A beautiful frame was put up there by the Art teacher where the group photos of the students were taken. Classes IV and V moved towards the Bilawal Stadium to get the results. The shields were placed on the table. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Verses. The results were announced and the photographs of the proud winners were taken. Certificates were awarded to the prefects by the sports teacher. In the end Dua e Said was recited and the students returned to their classes.

International Kangaroo competitions are a series of competitive examinations held at school levels in the National and International spheres. The International Kangaroo Math Contest was held on 16th March 2023, the results have been unveiled and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the students and parents of the winners. This year 8 students from Primary Section got Bronze medals and rest were awarded with Data Cables and Badges. We are proud of their efforts and achievement and wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
